Kids Lit Quiz

Aidanfield Christian School went to the Canterbury heats of the Kids Lit Quiz held at Cobham Intermediate School on Wednesday 23rd March 2016.
Kids in years 5-8 are able to complete in this competition. The competition is for kids who are interested in various types of reading.
Mrs Anthony went around different classrooms holding a small Lit Quiz for the whole classroom and ended up choosing 8 students to represent Aidanfield.
We had 2 teams of 4 with a mixture of year 7 and 8's. Teams have to answer 100 questions that are divided into 10 categories. These change each year. This year's ones included, Teachers and Body Parts. One of the team has to write down the answers after a team discussion. After each round the answers were collected and marked. Between each the round the Quiz Master asked the audience some questions for which they could win gift vouchers and prize packs from Whitcoulls.
At the end, all of the scores were added up . Our heat was won by St Martin's School and the top 3 teams continue on to the Final.
